They've Got the Look!!

Presley has been wearing this purple skirt all week. She just pulls it on over her shorts (yes, we are wearing shorts in Arizona now)!! Then she walked in with the wipe baggie over her head (which I ripped up and threw away as soon as I took the picture because it was falling over her head. Yikes)!!

Dear sweet Carson!! He is going to make an amazing husband someday! He LOVES cars, trains, wrestling and all things boy. But when we pulled out the dress-up for Presley for the first time (which she LOVED), he jumped right in there with the girls and had a great time!!

Kendall's prayer

"Bless that I can learn what I need to to pass 2nd grade. Bless that Carson can learn what he can to pass kindergarten. Bless that mommy and daddy will do what they need to to lose some pounds." Thank you Kendall!! Now to get back on that exercise bike!!

That was so much fun entering a black and white photo, that I decided to post my favorite black and whites (and 1 sepia). I don't take many pictures in black and white. Most of these are baby pictures of Landon. Babies generally don't get annoyed with a camera in their face and they can't move!! Perfect for us mamarazzi's!!

Derek just came back from the doctor. He has a sinus infection. That now makes 3 members of our family that are on antibiotics.

Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments, thoughts, and prayers for Carson. He has done great and was back at school on Tuesday!! He still has a cough, but is feeling fine. But this virus isn't through with us yet!!

Landon started to get sick and he was in pain last night before bed and then slept until noon today when I had to wake him up. I hauled him to the doctor and luckily no pneumonia, but a nasty ear infection and canker sores!!

Kendall is home today with a slight fever and horrible cough. She has complained about her ear a couple of times, but it goes away with Tylenol. She is really sad because she planned a small Valentine's party at our house Friday night which we have to postpone.

Presley is doing the best with an icky nose, junkie cough, and is very crabby, but as far as I can tell she hasn't developed a fever yet.

Derek has been really sick for 2 days feeling very congested, dizzy, and just plain out of it.

Me?? Thankfully we have been very blessed that I am feeling fine! We are gearing up that I will probably be getting sick in the next couple of days and Derek will have to manage our brood. Wish him luck! He will need it!! Luckily we only have 2 kids right now on antibiotics.

Now to get back to my sniffling, sneezing, coughing, achy, stuffy head, feverish family!!

My sick little boy

On Tuesday night Carson was really tired and started to cough. On Wednesday morning he was so tired that I let him stay home from school. Thursday he still had a pretty bad cough and that afternoon he was running a slight fever. In the middle of the night last night he still had a fever and I had to give him Tylenol. This morning he was very lethargic and slept most of the morning. Around noon I looked at him and he was crying. I asked him why and he said because he couldn't talk. So Derek took him to the Insta Care. My mommy heart knew that he was more than just a little sick. Turns out he has pneumonia! Luckily he is able to stay home and hopefully it won't get any worse. They gave him a huge shot, 750 mg, of Rocephin. He goes to the doctor again on Monday and we are praying we will have good news. Till then, lots of movies and lounging around for my little guy!!

I am really getting tired of taking pictures in my backyard. I mean, how much more can I do with just 2 types of flowers, tangelos, and lemons?? But do I dare let the little tornadoes outside the confines of the backyard? I think I would be doing a lot more running and a lot less picture taking. But then again, that would be good for the waistline!!

Landon Splish Splashin'

Landon loves the bathtub! You all know that I usually have a VERY hard time getting a good picture of Landon, but he actually likes to get his picture taken while he is in the tub. I wonder if I have a little exhibitionist on my hands???
