I Heart Faces - Boys!!

This weeks I Heart Faces theme is "Boys." The perfect picture would of course include mud and sticks. But since Arizona only has mud a couple of times a year and trees in my neighborhood are sparse, here is the next best thing!! The grass was in need of cutting and Landon was having a great time crawling around in it! Carson decided to make his own taco creation.....complete with strawberries and peanuts! He said it was going to be the best taco ever. He took about 4 bites and said he was full!!

Kendall prayer: "Bless that daddy will find a job soon and when he does that he will make more money than he used to. Bless that you will please listen to daddy's prayers!!"


Carson: Presley had a penny and he wanted one too. I got out a penny and he said "No! I want a big shiny one!!"


Carson: I opened up the cedar chest to put a blanket away and he said: "That smells like Grandma's house!!" I'm pretty sure that was a compliment!!

New pets!!

The last week of school Kendall came home with 2 mealworms from school. Before we knew it, one of the mealworms turned into a pupa and then into a beetle. Finally this past week the other mealworm turned into a pupa. Kendall wants to raise mealworms. I've done some research and they are really easy to raise and you can use the mealworms in bird feeders to attract lots of birds. It really is kind of fascinating!! We also now have 3 pet crickets. I'm not sure if we are going to keep the crickets as pets. I think we might releasing them soon!!
