The House That Never Sleeps
Yes, that would be our house!! We all got to bed early last night and were all asleep by 9:30. Presley woke up at 3 am crying. I went in there because she has been having the runs lately. That wasn't the problem and she quieted down after about 10 minutes. At 3:30 she woke up again. I knew I wasn't going to get back to sleep so I picked her up and we went downstairs. Thank goodness Noggin is on 24 hours a day!! At 4:15 Carson came down. Did I mention that Presley cries VERY loudly!! At 4:45 Kendall poked her head down to us and told us to please keep it quiet. Well, she couldn't get back to sleep either and was downstairs at 5:15! Landon was the only one who slept until 7:00. So now it looks like I will be picking Carson up early from school since he tends to tire in the afternoon anyways. It is 8:30 and Presley is STILL awake!! Though she is getting quite cranky! Wish me luck tonight as we try to do homework with very cranky kids!!!

That sounds like our house!!! My neighbor's daughter is always late to school because her kids all sleep until 8:00 and she doesn't set an alarm. There is 100% chance that I will always be awake in time to get the kids to school. One day they will be teenagers - and we'll be yelling at them to get out of bed! Maybe you can sneak in a nap.
Ohhhhh, that sounds rough. We were up at 3:00 a.m. here too, but thankfully Brogan and Teddi went back to sleep after some rearranging . . . Teddi on the loveseat, me on the couch, Brogan in bed with daddy. We seem to be in a pattern of rough sleep, not sure why . . . this too shall pass, right?
Hope you get a nap today!
Blessings ~

Arrgh! Nights like that are hard, and it seems to take several "normal" nights to recover! We've been visited by the stomach flu bug and the strep bug at our house... hoping we are done being sick for a while! Hope tonight is better for you!
I feel your pain, just not on the same level! I don't know how you do it girl! You are a saint!
Hugs, Jill
I can hear you just grinning & bearing it. I guess laughing about it is the best medicine. (thanks for the heads up of what is to come.) Jill M.
